Your Life watercolor is a free hand sketch done by the artist when he was under ten. It has quite a charming, whimsical quality and showcases the considerable talent that was to emerge in later years. Just on its own merit, tho, I think it would make a wonderful illustration in a children’s book or a very happy poster for a child’s room.

Some of these sketches show the paper a little mussed up but turning them into posters usually negates this effect and brings forth the quality of the art. The pen & ink sketch of the Dancer, second to the last, is his brother, Paul, doing tap dancing, which he studied in his teen years. The sketch perfectly captures Paul’s personality and also looks a lot like he did at that age.

An additional word, Jesse, John and Isaac are also very skilled in all the computer apps for creating art. Artists today need to know this aspect of art to be truly versatile in using their talents. Isaac, with his Masters in Fine Arts, actually teaches classes on this. This is especially useful in making multiple images of the same design.
