We do study the little ice age and the Mauder minimum of sunspot activity in poor class. I’ve learned a lot teaching the class. But the fact remains that co2 levels are not decreasing. This stresses the oceans mostly, and stress odds the biggest part of the global warming equation: Heat equals Stress times Temperature. Only when stress is at a maximum will temperature begin to rise. Hot heat has very low entropy. Nature will always increase cold heat first. It was always assumed that the environment was an infinite reservoir of cold heat. We are realizing it not infinite. But, yes there much more to it than co2. But its still a thing. Its NOT going away.
