Registration is open for the 2012 Alaska Wood Energy Conference Oct. 9th to 11th in Ketchikan.

The conference will focus on community use of wood biomass. Sessions will cover success stories; converting to and operating a biomass system; forestry resources; and equipment.

The early registration deadline is Oct. 2nd. See conference and registration links at www.uaf.edu/ces.

Sponsors include the UAF Cooperative Extension Service, Alaska Energy Authority and the Alaska Center for Energy and Power.
